Wilmington, VT. The autumn scene is also a kind of experiment where I took a scene I had previously painted and just using small brushes and brush strokes, just started building up thick, full strenghth color, almost impressionistic style. |

24 x 72 I was watching some movie last week on T.V and they kept showing this beautiful red leather chair and the way the shadows were bouncing off it I thought "these colors could make some kind of nice painting!" I started this the very next morning with no idea where I was going with it and just stayed very loose and simple. It has a bit of an Asian feel to it. I like it a lot! |

48 x 56 I've certainly have had my share of that in the last two years!! So not only is the dragonfly a beatiful creature,it also has personal significance for me. |

13 x 16 Sometimes I'll see something in a painting that I had intention of putting there. I thought I saw a slight sugestion of buildings in the distance so I developed them which in turn gave the meadow a park-like look and added some much needed depth so I later painted in the figures and the pond and there it was! Don't be to hasty giving up on a painting. |

16 x 26 That bright blue with lots of rust was such a contrast to that peaceful green meadow, I had to stop and paint it. |

23 x 18 There's a big lesson there, don't try painting every single flower or blade of grass, there's lots of detail when painting up close! I stayed very loose with this painting and it came out pretty good. |
